Who are we ?

We are Aviyen, a Mumbai-based firm specializing in Risk Management Services. We are a young company committed to providing quality services in the field of Risk Management to small, medium and large organizations and businesses.

Our product, Aviyen Safety Management System, is a culmination of all our expertise in this field. It is an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) inspired Safety Management System (SMS) designed to give enterprises in the Aviation Industry the ability to report, track and proactively manage their risks.

Why is Aviyen special ?

‘Complexity’   is the biggest challenge in effective Risk Management.

Safety experts in the Aviation Industry often muse that Safety Management Systems are invariably seen on paper, but hardly ever implemented in true form. Albeit accurate, this view has painted a discouraging picture about the inefficacy of safety management systems for a long time.

The problem, however, lies not with the premise of safety management systems themselves, but rather the inability of existing systems to bridge the gap between sound risk management principles and the use of technology to implement them. Safety systems grounded in expertise in Risk Management but lacking in technical know-how, and vice versa, cannot produce practical solutions. This is where Aviyen comes in.

About the Founder

Rakesh Pande has over 39 years of managerial experience, including 24 years of service in the Indian Navy and 30 years in the field of Information Technology. In addition to being a specialist in the field of Risk Management and logistics, some of his qualifications include –

  • Certified practitioner of Capability Maturity Model –Software (CMM-SW)
